Rifle Classifications:

 

 

Factory Varmint

  1. Factory varmint rifles must be factory production rifles in every respect.

  2. Only factory triggers may be used but they may be adjusted.

  3. Any factory center fire rifle with a barrel exceeding .675 at muzzle will be shot in factory varmint.

  4. Action, barrel, or stock cannot be altered in any way.

  5. Accuracy assets are allowed.

  6. Any ammo is allowed.

  7. 24X is maximum scope setting.

  8. There will be five scoring shots at each target with seven minutes to complete all Shots. There will be five targets for the total match with a possible combined score of 250

  9. Any competitor winning three matches will automatically advance to next higher class. This is to prevent class domination by any one competitor.

 

Modified Varmint

  1. Factory action required. (No action sleeves)

  2. Custom Barrels under 1” will be allowed.

  3. Any trigger with a functioning safety.

  4. Factory configured stock required. No benchrest stocks!

  5. Accuracy assets are allowed.

  6. Stock bedding with metal pillars is allowed.

  7. Any brand or type ammo is allowed.

  8. 24X is maximum scope setting.

  9. There will be five scoring shots at each target with seven minutes to complete all of them. There will be five targets for the total match with a possible combined score of 250 points.

 

Factory Hunter

  1. Factory hunter rifles must be factory production rifles in every respect.

  2. Rifles must have sporting taper type barrels that do not exceed .675 at the muzzle.

  3. Only factory triggers may be used but they may be adjusted.

  4. Bullet diameter will be 6mm or larger.

  5. Any ammo is allowed.

  6. 12X is maximum scope setting.

  7. There will be three scoring shots at each target with five minutes to complete all of them. There will be five targets for the total match with a possible combined score of 150 points.

 

Custom Hunter

  1. This class requires a custom rifle that would be used for the purpose of hunting large game. This class is based on the Kenny Janet type of custom original bean field rifle.

  2. Rifles may have factory actions that have been accurized or custom-built actions, which utilize a magazine designed for multiple shots.

  3. Any barrel will be allowed that would reasonably be used for hunting large game not to exceed .875 diameter.

  4. Any trigger with working safety is allowed.

  5. Any hunter type stock is allowed. (No benchrest type stocks)

  6. Action may or may not be glued into stock.

  7. Bullets must be 6mm or larger.

  8. 24X is maximum scope setting.

  9. There will be five scoring shots at each target with seven minutes to complete all of them. There will be five targets for the total match with a possible combined score of 250 points.

 

Open Class

  1. Any rifle, scope, barrel, stock, or caliber is allowed in open class.

  2. There will be five scoring shots at each target with seven minutes to complete all of them. There will be five targets for the total match with a possible combined score of 250 points.

 

Varmint for Score (VFS)

  1. Any rifle meeting N.B.R.S.A. or I.B.S. rules is allowed. (not to exceed 13.5 Lbs.)

  2. There will be five scoring shots at each target with seven minutes to complete all of them. There will be five targets for the total match with a possible combined score of 250 points.

 

Military Rifles

  1. Must be military issue WWII or earlier.

  2. Must be military issue iron sites.
